Christopher Johnston

Chris Johnston is a recognized trial attorney and Certified Civil Trial Specialist, with over two decades of litigation experience. An eight-time recipient of the Super Lawyer distinction and a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Chris has successfully argued cases before the Iowa Supreme Court and has built a reputation as a fierce advocate and legal thinker.

Beyond the courtroom, Chris is a lifelong UFOlogist with a background in both astrobiology and space law. He has completed certificate coursework in Astrobiology and earned a Certificate in Space Law through the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), bridging the gap between scientific inquiry and legal accountability in the expanding domain of space exploration.

Chris is a contributing member of MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) and has authored multiple articles for the MUFON Journal, including The Infratempestrial Hypothesis—a provocative exploration of ancient terrestrial intelligences and their role in shaping humanity’s understanding of the UFO phenomenon.

Chris’ debut book, Roswell: The Truth on Trial, reimagines the legendary 1947 UFO crash as a jury trial, complete with opening statements, witness testimony, and closing arguments—placing the reader in the role of juror.

Chris brings a rare blend of legal expertise, scientific curiosity, and investigative rigor to the conversation around disclosure, making him a powerful voice in the intersection of law, science, and the unexplained. Please see: https://lawgroupofiowa.com/attorneys/christopher-johnston/
