Jan Carson Weatherby
Jan Carson Weatherby is a Portsmouth, New Hampshire–based filmmaker, musician, and multi-hyphenate creative with a deep-rooted connection to the UAP phenomenon. A lifelong experiencer since the age of two, Weatherby’s encounters span UFO sightings, vivid night terrors, episodes of precognition and high-strangeness, and recurring dream contact—personal experiences that have shaped his artistic vision and fueled a decades-long exploration into the mysteries of consciousness and non-human intelligence.
Weatherby is the director of What Are We: UFOs, Consciousness & You, a thought-provoking documentary that moves beyond government disclosure to explore the deeper ontological and scientific questions behind the phenomenon. Narrated by Matt Ford (The Good Trouble Show), the film reflects Weatherby’s commitment to elevating the discourse around UAPs and the human condition.
He has also served as a media producer for some of the field’s most respected institutions, including The Sol Foundation—founded by Dr. Garry Nolan and Peter Skafish—and Archives of the Impossible at Rice University, founded by Professor Jeffrey Kripal.
In addition to his documentary work, Weatherby is an accomplished novelist, screenwriter, and animation artist, currently developing immersive narrative projects through his transmedia brand X66. His work blends science, spiritual inquiry, and personal transformation to engage audiences with stories that challenge, awaken, and inspire.
