Josh "The Note Troll" Maitland has shared stage and studio with everyone from open-mic newbies to platinum-certified rock stars. He can often be found slaying bass for Canadian musical comedy act Glacial Erratic, or working to share his knowledge of Remote Viewing (RV) and Intuition with a global audience through his education venture, Rock Star Intuition.

Josh also founded Red Room Recordings in 2011, where he has contributed to hundreds of commercial music releases as an artist, engineer, and producer — including over 7 albums with his own bands. 

He was first inspired to explore the intersection of science and magic around the age of five when he memorized the script to Ghostbusters. This lifelong quest for knowledge (punctuated by a few paranormal experiences) extended into fields like UFOs, Music, Meditation (Consciousness), and Engineering — the last of which led to a 15+ year consulting career in water resources and municipal infrastructure. 

After a deep-dive into Remote Viewer training during the pandemic, Josh developed a practical understanding of psychic abilities and became a certified Intuition Teacher in 2023. Prior to teaching psychic development, he facilitated in-person & online audio production courses and has tutored fellow seekers through all stages of his own Education.
