Kevin Kutchaver

One of Hollywood’s most in-demand Visual Effects Artists, Kevin Kutchaver has worked on countless feature films and TV series during the course of the past 40 years. Early in his career, he was involved in creating, designing and producing FX for such blockbuster motion pictures as Return of the Jedi, Ghostbusters II, both Addams Family films, all three RoboCop movies, Blade, and the comic book-inspired, Hellboy.

He was one of Hollywood’s leading originators of desktop visual effects work for TV with Babylon 5. He then became one of the co-founders of Flat Earth Productions, which created and produced six-years-worth of visual effects for two of the world’s biggest-ever syndicated TV series: Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess.

Kutchaver just wrapped up being the Senior VFX Artist for the Warner Bros. Television hit shows The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. A 2005 Emmy Award-winner for Outstanding Visual Effects for his work on the TV show Lost, Kutchaver also won the Arkin Medo Award for Photographic Excellence in 1979, and was nominated in 2007 by the Visual Effects Society for “Outstanding Supporting VFX in a Broadcast Program” for his work on Alias.
