Martin Willis

Martin Willis has long been captivated by the mysterious world of UFOs. His interest began in childhood, but it wasn’t until a striking UFO sighting in Carmel Valley, California, in 2007, that his curiosity turned into conviction. That personal encounter became a turning point, deepening his belief in the existence of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena and inspiring a thoughtful, lifelong inquiry into the subject. While maintaining a healthy dose of skepticism, Martin approaches the topic with an open mind and a deep respect for the unknown.

He acknowledges that the ultimate truth behind UFOs—and the opaque role governments like that of the United States may play—might remain out of reach. Yet, for Martin, the pursuit of answers is a vital and thrilling endeavor. His enthusiasm is further fueled by a strong interest in astronomy, and a belief that intelligent life likely exists beyond Earth, grounding his fascination in scientific curiosity.

In 2011, Martin founded the widely respected Podcast UFO, which airs every Tuesday and Thursday evenings here: YouTube Channel To date, the show has featured over 700 insightful interviews (including multi-part episodes) with leading voices in the field. His credibility and dedication have earned him numerous speaking invitations. He was the keynote speaker at the 2022 Pine Bush UFO Conference, and a featured presenter at the Shag Harbour UFO Expo in Nova Scotia (2023).

In 2024, he addressed the Skywatchers Amateur Astronomers Club in South Carolina, served as Master of Ceremonies for both the Annual MUFON International Symposium in Texas and the Shag Harbour Expo (2024, with a return slated for 2025). Looking ahead, presenter at UFOCon2025 in California, Martin will reprise his role as Master of Ceremonies at Pine Bush UFO Conference 2025 (& 2026) and present at the 2025 Exeter UFO Conference, further solidifying his leadership and respected voice within the UFO community.

Beyond his ventures in ufology, Martin is also a distinguished professional in the realm of antique and fine art appraisal, commencing his podcasting endeavors on antiques, auctions, and art in 2009. He has also lectured on antiques, art, and auctions nationwide for over three decades. His multifaceted expertise and unwavering commitment to exploration make him a luminary figure in both the realms of UFO research and the world of antiques.
