For decades, Saundra McKenna has been an avid enthusiast of UFO and UDB (upper dimensional beings) awareness. She is a member of CERO (Close Encounter Research Organization) and MUFON (Mutual UFO Network), and personally knows many experiencers, abductees and contactees. She is completing her nonfiction diary entitled “Portals of Consciousness” which is about bringing awareness and disclosure of the extraterrestrial truth on Earth. It shares many of her lifelong experiences with beings not of Earth origin. 

Saundra has traveled extensively abroad in the UK and Scotland, throughout Europe, Greece, and Egypt, exploring the timeless folklore legends, slept inside the perimeter of iconic Stonehenge as well as the classical Acropolis, crawled up the dank tunnel to get into the King’s Chamber within the Great Pyramid of Giza and slept on the paw of The Sphinx in Egypt during a moonless night. Regardless of where she has lived or traveled, her experiences of extraterrestrial races has remained ongoing. After returning to America, she continued her medical education, graduated from UCSF, and opened a medical practice specializing in integrative, functional, holistic, and alternative medicine, first in Santa Fe, NM and then on Kaua’i, Hawai’i.

Saundra's passion for the creative process has inspired her writing to evoke visceral and visual experiences for the reader/viewer. As a writer of scripts, treatments, poetry, short stories, and non-fiction, she wrote “The Phytogenic Hormone Solution,” published by Random House. It teaches women how to restore their reproductive and endocrine system’s balance through natural therapies as opposed to costly, pharmaceutical medications with all their potentially negative side effects.  She has helped many women avert the need for surgery.

A few years ago, Saundra sold her feature film screenplay, “Her Breaking Point,” to Vigilants Entertainment. She was also one of the co-writers on the family action feature “Pirate Camp.” As a spec screenwriter, she has written twelve sci fi/fantasy scripts highlighted by “2154 Beyond Avalon,” a futuristic take on the renowned Arthurian Legend that features a package with a visual storybook and musical scores to exemplify the screenplay.  Saundra was in pre-production with this film until the producer vanished with the funding. 

In addition, Saundra has worked as a story consultant and script doctor for clients. Her on-set experience has been as a costumer and assistant to the costume designer, as well as being an invited guest sitting in to observe the set process.

Originally, Saundra came up with the concept for the TV series called STARSEEDS when a group of producers put out the call for a new, Hawaii-based series and included the sci fi genre. In addition to the pilot, she has written Season 1, Episodes 2-7, a graphic pitch deck, the show bible, and produced a 2-minute sizzle https://vimeo.com/862697613 that is an overview for the series. Saundra has novelized STARSEEDS as STARSEEDS EARTH, which is about to go to the publisher.
