Shauna Krikorian
Shauna Krikorian has a diverse background in the music industry that spans music publishing, rights management, artist development and working with new technologies to enhance the creator experience. She has signed and developed countless artists and songwriters for sync licensing across various visual media, fostering relationships with music supervisors, production companies, film studios and networks. In 2010 Shauna co-founded MediaHorse, a boutique licensing / publishing agency, representing a roster of both established and emerging artists from all over the world, as well as Grammy Award winning songwriters and production teams. She has also spearheaded synch marketing campaigns for many iconic music publishing catalogs (Charli XCX, Paul Oakenfold, George Thorogood, Rival Sons, KISS, Elvis Presley, ZZ Ward, She Wants Revenge, Steve Winwood and others). Prior to MediaHorse, she joined Opus 1 Music as the VP of Creative Licensing, overseeing a roster of indie artists, library catalogs and the Opus 19 / Arc / Conrad (Chess Records) Six Palms and Third Story publishing catalogs (Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Harry Nilsson, Tom Waits, Tim Buckley, Alice Cooper). Shauna started her career as a music journalist and transitioned into artist management before moving into publishing.
Venturing into the growing music technology space, Shauna currently serves as EVP of SongHub, an innovative blockchain-powered creative collaboration, rights management and registration platform developed specifically for creators, music publishers, performing rights organizations, Gen AI music companies and music education programs worldwide. An advocate for more transparency within the music industry, Shauna drives SongHub’s mission to help promote the standardization of clean data practices, fostering a more equitable and efficient ecosystem for all.
